Documentation and description of the GW activities in the ilias next proposal

ILIAS-next proposal is focused on Networking and Joint Research Activities (JRA) for future underground facilities in Europe. The European call (Integration Activities) is the following

INFRA-2010-1.1.34: Research Infrastructures for dark matter search, neutrinos, gravitational waves.

A project under this topic should aim at integrating the key deep underground laboratories in Europe, for dark matter search, double beta decay, low energy neutrino physics, long-baseline neutrino beam experiments, and gravitational wave physics, including theory.

A project under this topic should aim at integrating the key deep underground laboratories in Europe, for dark matter search, double beta decay, low energy neutrino physics, long-baseline neutrino beam experiments, and gravitational wave physics, including theory.

The link between gravitational wave physics and underground laboratories, in Europe, is obviously ET and then all the proposed activities are addressed to supply to ET the needed netweorking and the needed R&D.

The documentation currently available in this page describes the networking activity and the proposed R&D to be inserted in the "transversal" JRA present in ILIAS-next.

(*) JRA1: Ultra low BKG techniques for Deep YG science Infrastructures - R&D proposal #1 fits with the purpose of JRA1, provided that the low background concept is extended to low seismic and newtonian backgound. The measurement part is compliant with task 10.1 and the sensor development part could be compliant with task 10.2

(**) JRA3: Support technologies for underground operations - This R&D fits with JR3 but needs a new task more focused on GW issues
